Nickey is a co-worker of mine at Etsy so when she asked me to do a session with her, I already knew that she was going to be super fun to work with and have great style for the shoot! Originally we were just going to get her some headshots for work, but we eventually turned it into a full portrait session to grab some shots of everyday life with her, her husband Jay, and their sweet pup, Minnie. We started off at Cadman Plaza Park near the Brooklyn Bridge entrance, where we got some beautiful, lush green backgrounds. Then we made our way up onto the Brooklyn Bridge, battling crowds while taking quick shots in between :) We ended with some fun/goofy shots in front of some spectacularly colorful walls in DUMBO, which is always a great place for a variety of different backdrops.
